Their struggle to survive and thrive, first in this harsh land, and later with the invasion of strange and foreign people leaves them clinging tight to old ways, while being thrust into a new, and very bewildering world.

Beautifully illustrated with Roy Purcell's signature style, mixed-media on heavy textured watercolor paper.
